Masterson’s Pub , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I experienced behind its doors was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

From the moment I entered , it was evident that sanitation was not a priority at Masterson’s . The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and neglected washrooms polluted the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of excrement , old age and sour vomit .
